Granny Dust
The project is a website design for hiring cleaners
Granny is a friendly and hardworking grandmother who has been in the cleaning business for years and wants to rent out her services to the general public. She has a grandmotherly and personal touch that is rarely found nowadays, she is pedantic and gets to every place in the house. She is also still very agile despite her age.
For this project I designed the user experience and interface and did the research.
The Proposal
01
the challenge
The challenge was to design a sales website for a profession that is less visual.
Nowadays there are many cleaning companies, but it is hard to find someone who cleans in a more personal way. The challenge was to bring the spirit of the grandmother to the website.
02
what was before
The customer did not have a website, so the website is on the lowest rung of the emotion pyramid.
the next level
03
The website is designed to be useful and its services can be easily acquired.
It was important to create a reliable and trustworthy website so that you have someone you can trust and Granny will clean every crumb in the house.
The website was designed in the form of an experience and joy of cleanliness. At the entrance to the site is a small game that easily cleans the screen with mouse movements or finger (on a cell phone) and triggers the action to purchase the service.
04
The solution
Our goal is to stimulate the user, motivate him to act and make him buy the service.
In order to appeal to all target groups, I created the figure of a cartoon grandmother that everyone can easily identify with. On the one hand, the character seems friendly and nice, and on the other hand, she can be trusted because of her life experience.
It was important to create a simple navigation, and that's why there is a header bar that allows you to easily reach any point of the website, the free navigation .
To create credibility, the site has about the story of the grandmother, you can also read reviews from people who have already ordered the service and were satisfied with the experience.
Main Screens
Homepage and call to action
Motivates the user to take action. Upon entering the website, the user cleans the screen by simply moving the mouse. The screen looks dirty and is cleaned in seconds, easily turning your home from dirty to clean.
Throughout the website, the button to purchase cleaning services and order the cleaner from you is always easy to find.
Branding
UX Design & User Flows
Purchase process
A user who wishes to purchase the service
A user who enters the website and wants to buy the service can do so in three simple steps. Throughout the process, a bar shows where he is and how many steps are left to complete the purchase. The bar helps the user stay on the website and not leave it.
In the first step, one enters addresses and phone numbers and selects the desired date and time for receiving the service.
The second step is to enter the payment details. In the last, third step, one receives a confirmation message that the service has been purchased and a summary of the order.
A user who wants to be convinced of the reliability and trustworthiness of the website before buying a service
A user who wants to learn more about us can read about us and connect to the story. In addition, you can read authentic reviews from people who have experienced the service on the Reviews page.
